Off Track

Dear Everyone,

I am off track now. On school days I get to stay at home, even when I have to go to kindergarten. I will be off track for three and a half weeks before I have to go to school. Here are some things I want to do while I'm off track.

On my Halloween Party I had a friend named Emma Roberts, and her mom was helping my mom do a story stand. And Emma Roberts' mother gave my mom her phone number and her address and maybe they said their two daughters can play together because we almost be friends. So we'll have a play date while I'm off track.

And I hope Granny will play with me a lot while I'm off track. Maybe I could go to her house and do crafts and stuff.

Let me tell you how you do one craft.

You take a pan. And you put glue on it. Then you stick papers on it and wait for it to dry. Then you have a colorful pan and you can use it for anything you like to put in it. You can put jewelry and fun stuff on it. I hope you make one so I can see it. Someday.

I have special colorful fingernails. There is red on my thumbs and there is red on my pinky toes. Then there's orange for my pointer and for after red on my pinky toes. Then I do blue after orange. Then I did purple and then I did pink. Pink was the biggest on my toes, but it was the smallest on my fingernails.

I'll take a picture of what they look like.

Please leave me lots of comments with whipped cream and cherry on top. That just means whipped cream and cherry top means I really really really want you to do it.

Love,

Jenny

  1. How could we possibly resist your very tempting invitation to leave comments with whipped cream and cherries on top. Almost, Jenny, you are convincing me to start a blog for the Rasmussen children. Then they can say things like "Then there's orange for my pointer and for after red on my pinky toes". And I will remember it forever and ever and so will all the other cool people who read it.

One day a grown up Jenny Princess will read what a Kindergartner Jenny Princess wrote and she will think to herself "no wonder I scored this amazing Prince to be my husband. I have been utterly adorable from the very beginning of time."

I hope you get that play date with Emma Roberts. And I hope it's at Emma Robert's house. Who knows what mischief your Mom and James will get up to while you and Emma Roberts are being princesses at Emma Robert's house.

Good luck with your three and a half weeks of being off track. Perhaps you could take that pesky sock monkey on an adventure and write a post about it for your dedicated readers to enjoy.

  2. Your fingernails and toes are MUCH more colorful than mine. I wonder what you ate for them to turn those colors!? Fruity Pebbles? Maybe you should ask your doctor about that. I bet the doctor tells you to eat foods that are less colorful like oatmeal, mushrooms, Ramen noodles, squid, and fig newtons. I'd stick with the fig newtons if I were you.

  3. I don't know about that fig newton thing, Jenny. They might turn your toenails a gooey brown color. I haven't seen many princesses with gooey brown toenails and fingernails. Maybe you should eat some sugar cookies with a delicate pink frosting. . . or electric-blue koo-laid. It all depends on what kind of princess you are.

  4. Don't worry about the fig newtons, Jenny. All the best princes will love the smell of your toes. You will be famous because of your good smelling toes....I'm getting jealous.
