My Favorite Christmas Presents

My favorite thing I got for Christmas was Fin Fin Friends Caribbean Castle. I had a Lalaloopsy Silly Hair doll too and a butterfly in a jar and a Lalaloopsy swimming mermaid bath time doll.

Here are some other things I got.

Smarty Pants - a game to play with Daddy
A spork
Pi ice cube tray
Barbie furniture for my dollhouse

But my favorite thing of all is the Fin Fin because I wanted one for a whole year. And she looks fun on YouTube of the video I had watched. She can eat, swim, dance, sing, and go down a slide. When I talk to her she dances and the more I play with her the more tricks she does for me. And there's some secret things that I'm trying to find out how to do them. She has a magnet on her belly that helps her move and stay since she's not a real fish.

I'm staying home from school today because I'm sick. I hope I get better soon.

Here is a video for you to watch where I sing a song about what I do at school. I hope you enjoy it.

  1. Oh, Jenny! I forgot you have a blog. I had to start with your very first post so I could catch up on all the things you have been doing. I love your videos. Hearing you sing about all the things you do at kindergarten made me tired. What busy times you have at school. I will start checking your blog so I don't get so far behind again. I love you, Jenny.

  2. Jenny, I just thought of something I want to share with you. When you talk about your kindergarten, it makes me think of when I was in kindergarten. It was a long time ago and things were quite different then. We had to wear dresses to school every day, except for the last day of school when we had a party. I fell down on the playground a lot. I think I skinned my knees every week. I always had matching scabs on both my knees. If I had been able to wear pants, maybe I wouldn't have had so many scabs.

My teacher was named Mrs. Remley. I loved her. She was a soft, fat granny. I remember one day when we were all standing in rows and a girl named Diana Eargle wet her pants. I wondered how she could do that because you have to be a big girl to go to kindergarten. Anyway, back to Mrs. Remley. When I was in kindergarten, and all the other grades, too, we never brought treats on our birthday to share with the other kids. Mrs. Remley would have the birthday child come up to the front of the class. She had a pink plastic birthday cake that was kind of like a music box -- it had a thing on the side that you could turn and it would play "Happy Birthday." I thought it was a real gyp. If you have a pretty pink cake, shouldn't you be able to eat it?

    I loved Mrs. Remley anyway.

And I love you and all my other grandkids -- Granny

  3. Wow. That makes me tired too. I'm pretty sure when I went to kindergarten we had a rest time like in the Ramona books. If you haven't read Ramona, you should have your mom read it to you.

  4. hey Jenny, even though I'm only 9, I will tell you about when I was in Kindergarten. I had a friend named Macy and then she moved. She said we could talk just if we yelled at the mountains. I actually tried it once. We were so wrong. My teacher's name was Mrs.Rush. She was nice. But not as nice as my 1st grade teacher Mrs.S. We had centers too. oh, this is Noelle.
