Today when Mommy dropped me off at school, I practiced with my teacher. Mrs. Loveland was there. She came back to visit with her new babies. The babies were Lucas and Jordan. They were boy twins. She's busy taking care of them so right now I have a substitute.
My first substitute was Mrs. Shumway. She had surgery, so now I have Mrs. Foreman.
My class went into the gymnasium and we standed in the second row at the front of the stage. My friend Amari was in the first row. I sat next to Norah. It was fun and interesting. I was excited for Mommy to show up. When I sawed Mommy I was excited and waved to her and blew her kisses.
Then we sang lots of songs. My favorite song was called "I Like Being Me". The words go like this:
I like being me.
And my friends help me see
I'm somebody special.
Happy as can be.
I feel good inside
When I do what's right.
I help my friends and family.
I like being me.
And we did sign language while we sang that song.
After all the songs I took a picture with my mom in front of a big paper flower. Then I ate in the cafeteria with my mom. I had pepperoni pizza, cookie, applesauce, and that's it. I tried some chocolate milk, but I didn't like it, so Mommy drank it. Besides, I'm allergic.
Now I'm make a video of me singing that song. I hope you like it.
Jenny, I like your song! It makes me feel happy.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like you and Mommy making funny faces. I'm glad you have a blog.

That is so wonderful that you remembered the sign language so well! That was awesome. Next time I see you I will teach you another song to sing with sign language. Love you, Aunt Wendy
